Unlocks Unicorn Rifts, a random event that generates unicorns.
Each Ivory Tower increases the frequency of this event by 0.05% per game-day, or 1% per day per 20 towers.
As of 1.4.0.4b you get a boost to your unicorn rift amount equal to 10% of your unicorn ziggurat bonus to unicorn production.The amount of unicorns you get from a rift is 500* (1 + your unicorn ziggurat bonus production to unicorns/10)
Worship the sun to learn its mysteries. Increase worship to unlock upgrades and, later, increase production. The cost of these upgrades may be reduced by having a philosopher leader.
Note: As of 1.4.8.1, "praised faith" is now known as "worship", and "Apocrypha bonus" is now known as "epiphany", but the underlying mechanics are unchanged.
Percentage bonus given is (square root(1+8 * worship / 1000)-1)/2. This bonus is soft-capped at 1000% with diminishing returns setting in at 750% bonus.
This bonus value is further increased by Black Obelisks (see below), and by 100% per Transcendence tier after you've completed the Atheism challenge.
Allows you to purchase some religious abilities multiple times, at a x2.5 price increase. (Solar Revolution, Apocrypha, and Transcendence can be bought only once)
Spend some epiphany to increase trancendance tier.

If you have reached Apocrypha (ability to convert worship to epiphany) at the end of your first run, resetting on the required 100000 worship will give you a 10% bonus, which will allow you to buy the first two transcendence tiers on the following run. To get enough worship to buy transcendence tier 3 at the end of your second run, you will need 293750 worship at the end of your first run (assuming you are converting manually).

Insights into the mysteries of time and space. You gain access to Cryptotheology after researching the Cryptotheology technology, and additional Cryptotheology levels are unlocked by Transcendence Tiers, which are bought with your Apocrypha.
Transcendence Tiers and all cryptotheology buildings bought will carry over when you reset, but the technology named Cryptotheology will not. You will need to research the technology again to see which buildings you've purchased or to buy more.
Increases the alicorn corruption rate based on the amount of sorrow and the number of Black Radiances. The approximate bonus to corruption speed is 3.464% times the square root of (number of Black Radiances times number of points of BLS).
Unlocks Post Apocalypse applies on reset: -1% max kittens (DR's starting at 75%) +2% karmakittens and paragon per kitten +2% kitten production per housing (offsets your loss to lower population, then gives a 2% boost) (provides the same boost to zebras, but without the decrease to max population)
With either the Mausoleum cryptotheology upgrade, or with the Radical Xenophobia policy, pacts become available for purchase. Each pact costs 100 relics no matter how many of a given type is acquired, and in addition, incur a debt of necrocorns that slowly reduces pact efficacy, but may be paid at any time. Further, each pact continuously consumes a number of necrocorns for upkeep. Pact effect scales with the number of Black Pyramids currently built, and each Transcendence Tier above 25 increase pact effects by +100 %. If a pact is not committed to a type, then they contribute to the production of karma and this effect is increased by every Transcendence Tier beyond 25. Buying a pact is not permanent, and resetting unallocates all committed pacts.
When comitting pacts, one acquires a debt of necrocorns that must be made, or else the pact will be broken. When this occurs all benefits of pacts are lost for the duration of the run and are replaced with a button labled "Fractured." All alicorns are lost, and all kittens lose all job skills earned. This happens when deficit hits 50.
The effects of broken pact are 50% global storage and 50% global production reduction.
